butterfly
emerges
from its cocoon of grief

Japanese apple blossoms
rest naked between spaces
along the branches
their brilliance
pays homage
in the space
between earth and sky
regal magnolia blossoms
focus skyward
lifted by branches
a trunk carves space
between asphalt and grass
resilience and hope
in the space
between endings
and new beginnings
a healing presence
compassionate
support for others
is birthed
my journey
towards fulfillment
emerges
i choose to embrace

gratitude
compassion
love
creativity
peace
forgiveness
each more than just words
each nourish my spirit
